  • Write a scoped subagent delegation.
  • Review external-tool access before using it.

Lesson Content

MCP can connect Claude Code to external data and actions. That can be helpful for tickets, documents, code hosts, dashboards, or custom internal tools. It also increases responsibility because the agent may see or change information outside the current project.

Subagents are useful for bounded work such as research, test review, or file inventory. A good subagent task says what to inspect, what to ignore, what output format to return, and what decisions it must not make.
