Lesson Content

Responsible AI use starts before the first prompt. The question is not only "Can AI do this?" It is "What happens if the answer is wrong, unfair, private, manipulative, or misunderstood?"

Common risk categories include:

  • Accuracy risk: the answer is wrong or outdated.
  • Fairness risk: some people are treated worse than others.
  • Privacy risk: private information is exposed or reused inappropriately.
  • Security risk: the workflow can be tricked, leaked, or abused.
  • Reputation risk: the output harms trust.
  • Human impact risk: people lose agency, clarity, work quality, or fair treatment.
