Brand Customization and Consistency
Lesson 1: Setting Up a Brand Kit
Lesson Objectives
By the end of this lesson, students should be able to:
- Upload brand logos and assets to the platform
- Configure brand color palette settings
- Set brand-consistent defaults for new video projects
- Verify brand kit configuration with a test video
Lesson Content
What a brand kit configuration provides.
A brand kit in a video production platform pre-loads brand assets (logos, colors, fonts where supported) so they are available as defaults or quick-access elements during video production – reducing the per-video effort of finding and applying brand elements and reducing the risk of incorrect colors or outdated logos being used.
Uploading brand assets.
Upload current approved logo files (in appropriate format and resolution for video use), any brand background images or visual elements, and other approved brand imagery to the platform's asset library. Establish a clear naming convention for assets so team members can identify current vs. outdated versions. Verify supported file formats and resolution requirements at heygen.com.
Configuring brand colors.
Where the platform supports brand color configuration, enter brand palette hex values so they are available as consistent color references during video production – avoiding the inconsistency of individual team members manually entering color values from memory or different reference sources.
Testing brand kit configuration.
After configuring the brand kit, produce a test video using brand defaults to verify that colors, logos, and any other configured elements appear correctly in output – before using the brand kit as the foundation for actual production.
