Editorial evaluation of AI output.

Every Magic Write output requires editorial evaluation: Is the content accurate? Does it match the intended tone? Is the claim appropriate for the brand and legal context? Does it fit the design layout? Is it compelling and clear? AI-generated text can be grammatically correct but factually wrong, tonally off, or strategically ineffective. Editorial judgment – not just spell-checking – is required.

Editing for accuracy and appropriateness.

Specific accuracy checks for AI text: product claims (verify any specific benefit claims are accurate and legally appropriate); brand name and product name accuracy (AI may generate plausible-sounding but incorrect details); location or contact information (never accurate from AI); and regulatory requirements (healthcare, financial, legal content has specific accuracy and disclaimer requirements). These checks are required before any AI text goes live.

Adapting for design layout and length.

Even well-written AI text often needs adaptation for specific design layouts: trimming to fit a space, reformatting from paragraph to bullet points, breaking into two design elements rather than one, or adjusting word choice to fit a specific brand name within a character limit. This adaptation is editing, not failure – AI provides a strong draft; human editing adapts it to the specific design context.

AI text as a thinking tool.

Magic Write is most valuable as a thinking aid: generating draft options that reveal what structure and tone work for the design, helping the designer see what the copy needs to do rather than what it says, and breaking the blank-page resistance that makes starting copy difficult. The AI draft often gets discarded in its specifics but validates the approach and structure that the final human-written copy follows.
