By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Implement sampling to allow MCP servers to make LLM requests
- Use notifications for real-time client updates
- Configure file system access with appropriate security boundaries
- Choose and implement the right transport for production deployment
- Apply production patterns for testing, monitoring, and maintenance
- Check Claude output for accuracy, privacy, and rights before you use or share it
After enrolling, students can complete lesson quizzes as they move through the course.
The course final assessment unlocks after all required lessons and lesson quizzes are complete.
Learning Context
Students advance from a working MCP server to production-grade MCP deployment – covering sampling for server-initiated LLM requests, real-time notifications, secure file system access, production transport selection, and the patterns that make MCP servers reliable under real workloads.
