Batch Production, Compliance, and Responsible Use
Lesson 2: Publishing, Platform Compliance, and AI Disclosure
Lesson Objectives
By the end of this lesson, students should be able to:
- Identify AI content disclosure requirements for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Apply appropriate disclosures before publishing AI-generated content
- Use Jogg.ai's direct publishing integrations where available
- Know where to verify current disclosure requirements for each platform
Lesson Content
Why AI disclosure matters.
In 2026, most major social media platforms require or strongly recommend disclosure when content is AI-generated. This includes AI-generated video presenters, AI-generated voiceover, and AI-translated content. Disclosure requirements protect audiences, protect creators, and protect platform integrity.
Non-disclosure can result in:
- Content removal by the platform
- Account warnings or suspensions
- Legal liability under emerging AI content regulation
- Loss of audience trust when undisclosed AI content is discovered
Current disclosure requirements by platform.
Always verify current requirements at each platform's help center – these policies update frequently. As of 2026:
TikTok: Requires an "AI-generated content" label for realistic AI-generated content including AI avatars and synthetic voices. Apply via the TikTok creator tools at upload, not as an in-video text overlay alone.
YouTube: Requires disclosure of "realistic" AI-generated video in the description and through YouTube's built-in AI content disclosure flag at upload. Applies to AI avatars, voice synthesis, and synthetic video.
Instagram / Meta: Requires labeling AI-generated content through Meta's AI label feature. Particularly enforced for political content and realistic-appearing synthetic media.
LinkedIn: Recommends disclosure of AI-generated content in post copy or caption – formal enforcement is less strict than TikTok/YouTube but best practice applies.
Jogg.ai direct publishing integrations.
Jogg.ai offers direct publishing connections to TikTok and YouTube from within the platform (verify current integrations and available platforms at jogg.ai). These connections allow you to publish directly from Jogg.ai after generation without downloading and re-uploading.
When using direct publishing:
- Apply platform-required AI disclosure labels at the platform level during upload (Jogg.ai's direct publish may or may not apply these automatically – verify current behavior)
- Review the published result on the platform after publishing to confirm labels are applied correctly
Platform-specific content policies beyond disclosure.
In addition to disclosure, platforms have content policies that apply to AI-generated content:
- Prohibited: Misleading deepfakes, non-consensual synthetic likenesses, electoral influence content
- Restricted: Medical claims, financial advice, political content (platform-specific rules vary)
- Required: Age gating for mature content, geographic restrictions for regulated topics
Jogg.ai's own content policy also prohibits certain uses – verify at jogg.ai/knowledge-base/terms-of-use/.
