Lesson Content

Managing subtitles in ProEdit.

Subtitles in Jogg.ai are auto-generated from the voiceover script. They are generally accurate but require review – especially for proper nouns, brand names, product names, and technical terminology.

In ProEdit's subtitle settings:

  • Toggle subtitles on or off for the output
  • Edit individual subtitle lines for accuracy
  • Adjust font, size, color, and positioning
  • Check timing alignment (subtitles should appear just before the word is spoken)

For content distributed to international audiences or used in accessibility contexts, subtitle accuracy is a compliance requirement – not a cosmetic preference.

Background music management.

ProEdit controls include:

  • Music selection: Choose from Jogg.ai's licensed music library or remove music entirely
  • Volume balance: Adjust music level relative to voiceover (voiceover should always be clearly dominant)
  • Music style: Match music tone to content – upbeat for product ads, neutral for corporate, calm for educational content

For AI-generated content disclosure requirements on some platforms, verify whether the background music needs separate attribution or licensing disclosure.

Text overlay elements.

Text overlays serve two primary purposes in Jogg.ai videos:

  • Calls to action: Direct viewers to an URL, phone number, discount code, or next step
  • Key point emphasis: Highlight a feature, price, or benefit at the moment the avatar mentions it

In ProEdit's text element tools:

  • Choose font, size, color, and background treatment (transparent, pill, box)
  • Set display duration and position in the frame
  • Apply subtle animation (fade in, slide in) from the animation options

Best practices:

  • Keep text overlays brief – three to seven words maximum
  • Position calls to action at the bottom third of the frame
  • Contrast: ensure text is readable against the visual background at every frame

Export settings.

Before downloading, set:

  • Resolution: Match to platform requirements (1080p for most; 4K if supported by plan)
  • Aspect ratio: Must match the target platform (9:16 for TikTok/Reels, 16:9 for YouTube)
  • File format: MP4 is standard for all major platforms
  • Watermark: Confirm your plan tier removes the watermark for exported output

Platform quick reference (verify current requirements):

  • TikTok: 9:16, up to 10 minutes (short-form optimal under 60 seconds), MP4
  • Instagram Reels: 9:16, up to 90 seconds, MP4
  • YouTube: 16:9 for standard, 9:16 for Shorts under 60 seconds
  • LinkedIn: 16:9 for professional content, 9:16 for mobile campaigns
