AI Voice Cloning and the Voice Library

Lesson 1: The AI Voice Library – Finding the Right Voice

Lesson Objectives

By the end of this lesson, students should be able to:

  • Navigate to the voice library and apply filters
  • Identify the key filter dimensions in the voice library
  • Preview a voice against actual script text before selecting
  • Explain the ElevenLabs integration in Jogg.ai's voice engine

Lesson Content

The Jogg.ai voice library.

Jogg.ai provides a large library of AI voices powered by a professional voice synthesis engine – including ElevenLabs integration in current versions. Verify current library size and engine details at jogg.ai/knowledge-base/voice/.

The library is designed to cover a wide range of use cases: commercial advertising, conversational content, educational and training narration, storytelling, and professional presentation.

Voice filter dimensions.

Use filters to narrow the library to voices that match your project's needs:

  • Language: Filter by the output language – the voice will deliver the script in that language
  • Accent: Regional accent within a language (e.g., American English, British English, Australian English)
  • Gender presentation: Lower-pitched, higher-pitched, or gender-neutral presentation
  • Age range: Younger adult, mid-adult, mature adult
  • Use case / category: Commercial, conversational, narrative, training, news, character

The preview feature – use it.

Previewing a voice in the library plays a generic sample – it tells you the voice's basic character but not how it will sound delivering your specific script. For best results, preview with a sample of your actual script text before committing.

Why this matters:

  • A voice may sound smooth in a generic sample but rush or stumble on technical terminology in your script
  • Pace that works for a conversational short-form clip may sound slow in a fast-paced ad
  • Language nuances, product names, and brand-specific terms affect how a voice sounds in real use

Building a voice shortlist.

For creators producing consistent content across a series, identify a shortlist of three to five voices that match your brand and save them as favorites. Using a consistent voice across a content series builds audio recognition for your brand – the same way visual avatar consistency does.

ElevenLabs voice engine.

Jogg.ai integrates ElevenLabs' voice synthesis engine, including the ElevenLabs V3 model in current versions. This provides access to the same professional voice quality available in standalone ElevenLabs subscriptions, within the Jogg.ai workflow. Verify current integration status and voice model details at jogg.ai/knowledge-base/voice-elevenlabs-v3/.
