The three methods.
Jogg.ai offers three distinct ways to create a custom avatar, each with different input requirements and output characteristics:
Method 1: Photo Avatar Input: A clear photograph of a face (the user's own face or a licensed image) Process: Jogg.ai animates the photo with facial expressions, lip sync, and gestures Output: An animated avatar that moves from a still photo Best for: Quick brand consistency, situations where recording video is not feasible, animating a professional headshot
Method 2: Text-to-Avatar (Generated Custom Human) Input: A text description of the desired appearance (age, gender, ethnicity, facial features, hair, expression, setting) Process: Jogg.ai generates a custom AI human from the description – multiple variations produced for selection Output: A generated AI person who does not correspond to any real individual Best for: Brand mascots, anonymized presenters, fictional personas, content that requires an appearance not tied to a real person
Method 3: Video Clone Avatar Input: A short recording of the subject speaking Process: Jogg.ai analyzes the footage to capture likeness, expressions, eye shape, micro-expressions, voice tone, and natural gestures Output: A high-fidelity AI clone that mirrors the original presenter Best for: Personal brand content creators, executives presenting at scale, individual creators who want their own likeness in all videos
Voice and avatar are separate systems.
A critical concept: voice cloning and avatar creation are independent in Jogg.ai. You can:
- Use a cloned voice with any stock avatar
- Use your custom avatar with any stock voice or a cloned voice
- Pair a cloned voice with your custom avatar for maximum consistency
This separation is intentional – it allows audio and visual brand elements to be developed and updated independently.
