Microsoft Copilot
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Apply criteria-first review using explicit rubrics before requesting any assessment
- Test logic, consistency, and completeness in their own work using Copilot
- Build custom review checklists for any recurring work product type
- Maintain appropriate skepticism about Copilot's review – knowing when to escalate to human review
- Check Microsoft Copilot output for accuracy, privacy, and rights before you use or share it
After enrolling, students can complete lesson quizzes as they move through the course.
The course final assessment unlocks after all required lessons and lesson quizzes are complete.
Learning Context
Students learn to use Copilot as a systematic quality assurance partner – applying criteria-first review, logic and consistency checking, and custom review checklists – catching errors, gaps, and weaknesses before work reaches its audience.
How this course works: each lesson explains the skill in plain language, shows a worked example, and ends with a student task you complete in Microsoft Copilot and a short quiz. The final assessment checks that you can apply the skill, not just remember it, and your saved prompts and results become reviewable training evidence.
