By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Start a Gemini conversation and write a first prompt that gets a useful result
- Recognize when a response needs refinement and apply effective follow-up techniques
- Use Gemini to learn new topics, level-set knowledge, and test their own understanding
- Apply Gemini to at least five categories of everyday practical tasks
- Check Gemini output for accuracy, privacy, and rights before you use or share it
After enrolling, students can complete lesson quizzes as they move through the course.
The course final assessment unlocks after all required lessons and lesson quizzes are complete.

Students with zero prior AI experience learn how to start, guide, follow up on, and get real value from their very first conversations with Google Gemini – building confidence and practical skill from the first session.
How this course works: each lesson explains the skill in plain language, shows a worked example, and ends with a student task you complete in Gemini and a short quiz. The final assessment checks that you can apply the skill, not just remember it, and your saved prompts and results become reviewable training evidence.
