By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Navigate Claude's interface features confidently, including settings, conversation history, and sharing
- Configure Custom Instructions to shape Claude's default behavior for their regular use
- Use Projects to build persistent workspaces for ongoing work
- Upload and analyze documents, images, and data files with Claude
- Apply at least fifteen power-user prompt command patterns fluently
- Understand which features are available on free vs. paid tiers and verify current availability
- Check Claude output for accuracy, privacy, and rights before you use or share it
After enrolling, students can complete lesson quizzes as they move through the course.
The course final assessment unlocks after all required lessons and lesson quizzes are complete.
Learning Context
Students learn how to use Claude's interface features – navigation, Custom Instructions, Projects, file uploads, and Artifacts – alongside the prompt command patterns that power users rely on to get faster, more precise results every time.
How this course works: each lesson explains the skill in plain language, shows a worked example, and ends with a student task you complete in Claude and a short quiz. The final assessment checks that you can apply the skill, not just remember it, and your saved prompts and results become reviewable training evidence.
