By the end of this course, students should be able to:
- Identify categories of sensitive information that should not be shared with Claude
- Apply privacy-protective workflows when working with real personal or organizational data
- Recognize when a topic or output requires a human decision-maker, not AI output
- Describe Claude's content guidelines and why they exist
- Make an informed, educated decision about when free-tier tools are sufficient and when advanced features may provide measurable value
- Check Claude output for accuracy, privacy, and rights before you use or share it
After enrolling, students can complete lesson quizzes as they move through the course.
The course final assessment unlocks after all required lessons and lesson quizzes are complete.
Learning Context
Students learn what information to protect when using Claude, how to handle sensitive topics responsibly, when to keep humans in charge of decisions, and how to choose the right Claude tier for their needs.
How this course works: each lesson explains the skill in plain language, shows a worked example, and ends with a student task you complete in Claude and a short quiz. The final assessment checks that you can apply the skill, not just remember it, and your saved prompts and results become reviewable training evidence.
