- Who uses it? Just you, your staff, or the public. Public apps need stronger logins, security, and support.
- On what device? A web app works in any browser, including phones. A true app-store mobile app adds steps and cost. Many first projects only need a mobile-friendly web app.
- What data? Simple lists, spreadsheets you already have, or sensitive personal or payment data.
- How many users? Ten staff members or ten thousand customers changes cost and performance.
- How long must it last? A two-week prototype to test demand, or a tool the business depends on for years.
