Runway Command Workflows – Generative Video Direction and Shot Control
Lesson 2: Applied Runway Command Scenarios – Product, Story, and Social
Lesson Objectives
By the end of this lesson, students should be able to:
- Apply shot commands to product, story, and social scenarios.
- Choose text-to-video, image-to-video, or editing for each scenario.
- Make one targeted revision per scenario.
Lesson Content
Scenario 1 – Product hero (image-to-video): start from the real product photo; modest camera motion; product stays rigid. Scenario 2 – Story beat (text-to-video): one emotional moment, such as "a hiker reaches a ridge and pauses as fog clears." Scenario 3 – Social vertical (9:16): strong first second, subject centered, quick readable action.
For each, generate, name the biggest problem, write one targeted revision, and regenerate or edit.
