Style and Aesthetic Control
Lesson 4: Style Project – Your Personal Style Guide
Lesson Objectives
By the end of this lesson, students should be able to:
- Create named style recipes from tested prompts.
- Document sample images and parameters for each style.
- Apply styles consistently to new subjects.
Lesson Content
A style guide holds 3 to 5 recipes. Each recipe includes:
- Name: for example, "Warm Editorial Food."
- Style words: medium, lighting, color, mood.
- Parameters: aspect ratio, stylize value, any style reference (
--sref) code or image, version. - Two sample images.
- Do and do-not notes: "works for products; fails for people."
Avoid naming living artists as a style shortcut for commercial work; describe the qualities (lighting, palette, texture) instead.
