Trigger mechanisms.

An automated video pipeline activates on a trigger: a new record in a CRM (trigger a personalized sales video), a new employee record (trigger a personalized onboarding video), a content calendar event (trigger a scheduled product update video), or a batch run (generate a full library update). The trigger determines what data is available to parameterize the video script and generation request.

Mapping application data to generation requests.

For personalized video, map relevant application data (the contact's name and company, the employee's role and team, the product's current feature list) into the script template that will be sent to the API. Dynamic script template substitution – replacing placeholder tokens with actual data values – enables per-record personalization without hand-editing each script.

Routing generated output.

After generation completes, route the output URL to its destination: storing it in a CRM record for sales rep use, attaching it to an onboarding task, sending it to a content distribution system, or storing in an asset library. The routing logic depends on the pipeline's specific use case.

Testing before production deployment.

Test the pipeline with representative sample data before connecting it to live production triggers – verifying that data mapping produces correct script content (no blank substitutions, no data from the wrong record), generation completes successfully, and output routing works correctly.
